Introduction to WW2: The Saltaire Story

Colin Coates writes: Originally from Peterlee in north England, I located to Saltaire in 2011 and became interested with the fascinating history of the Village and its people. In 2019, I left Saltaire to live in Hervey Bay, Australia. However, my research continues.

There are two zones to the WW2 Saltaire Story: the WW2 Roll of Honour, and the monthly WW2 Diary, documenting Saltaire life during the war. I'm also helped by relatives of the soldiers, who contribute extra information and photographs.
