SALTAIRY TALES 2006

Building on one of the most successful events of last year's Festival, Saltairy Tales 2006 promises to be a smart show, with similar personnel, and better quality sound and projection. The show, which has already secured part funding from Arts Council England, is expected to be a sell out.

A book of  Saltairy Tales (featuring illustrations by local artist Deborah M. Lawson) is going ahead, although it is not likely to be available at  this year's Festival.  However, samples of the work in progress will be visible when Deborah holds an exhibition at the Half Moon Café in Roberts Park as part of  Saltaire Bandstand on Sunday  August 20th.

There will be an Open Dress Rehearsal in Victoria Hall;  admission £2 on the door) on Tuesday 12th September and Festival performances on Thursday 14th and Friday  15th, all at 7.30pm.  Festival performances cost £6 and £3 and tickets will be on sale at Saltaire Tourist Information from around the third week in August.

You can reserve tickets by email right now from eddie@eddielawler.co.uk

Meanwhile Eddie is hard at work recording his third CD (working title To The Moors) at a Bradford studio, and the programme is on target for issue late 2006.
