Dear History Club Members,

Hi. We have our Xmas Club meeting coming up on Thurs 7 Dec – usual place, usual time:  Exhibition Building, Shipley College, Exhibition Road, BD18 3JW Shipley, 7 – 9 PM.It promises to be a great meeting:

Our own Les Brook will be taking an in-depth look at the stonework of Saltaire  – “Set in Stone” is an account of where it was sourced & how it was delivered. Knowing Les, it’s bound to be good!
In addition to Les’ talk, the agenda includes:

1. A Fun Quiz, set by our chairman Colin Coates. Colin has developed a reputation as a Quiz Master given to getting your memory cells working overtime.
2. An account of “Acquisitions of 2017”. Has it been a good year? Come & find out!
3. A forward look to 2018, and where we can best focus our activities in the year ahead.
Hope you’re able to join us on the 7th… It’s still free & there’s still refreshments to be had!

Best regards
Dave, for Saltaire History Club
