ARCHIVE OPEN THIS MONTH

Shipley College's archive of rare and interesting artefacts is open to the public until Friday August 17th. The exhibition, in the College's Exhibition Building, on Exhibition Road, can be viewed from Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 3pm. For further information, potential visitors can ring 327225. Over the years the Salt family has given the college custodianship of many of the Salt family's artefacts and the Saltaire Archive now includes original drawings of Sir Titus Salt as a boy, Salt family portraits and photographs, and pictures of Milner Field, Titus Salt Junior's famous home. The collection is normally kept carefully stored away, so this is a great opportunity to see it.

Thanks to Julie Woodward and her team.
