JUBILEE RECEPTION SUCCESS DOWN TO YORKSHIRE GRIT
PACE, now the largest technology company in the country, hosted a Silver Jubilee Reception to celebrate twenty-five years of success on June 8th at its headquarters in Saltaire. When the global giant invited the Sentinel to be part of the festivities, Pamela Reynolds was first in line for the champagne and canapes on our behalf: In a short, sweet but informative speech, Chief Executive Neil Gaydon was absolutely clear about his conviction that PACE's success is entirely down to true Yorkshire grit.
AMERICANS
Three million Americans watch televison through PACE technology – and they watch a lot of it, averaging about eight hours a night. It is a good job then that PACE has developed the first energy star compliance set top box for the USA.
CARBON
PACE is working alongside gifted engineers at Leeds University to develop the technology the TV hungry world can rely on, while at the same time striving to become a carbon neutral company.
All in all, PACE is doing great. With outstanding engineering and great products, the company is leading the world in the industry of the age; continuing the tradition of the fine building from which it operates – in the heart of Saltaire.
