SOCIETY SURVEY SHOWS TRAFFIC TOP CONCERN

Other matters mentioned included street maintenance, anti-social behaviour, tourism, local shops and the upkeep of Roberts Park. SVS Chair Elaine Gilligan said afterwards, “It was clear from the meeting that Saltaire is an amazing hive of activity and more should be done to encourage information sharing and networking. On behalf of the Society, many thanks to everyone who filled in the survey and contributed to Monday’s meeting, which will help shape how the Society develops.” Realistic options are now being considered by the SVS Committee for presentation the public at the Annual General Meeting on May 21st (7.30pm in the Glen Room, Victoria Hall).
