WE'RE ON THE WEB

One of the brightest front page stories we have carried recently concerned the new village website set up by Pamela Reynolds (address below). This is a really great community resource with which the Sentinel is pleased to be involved. In fact, it is already possible to read most of the contents of this paper by accessing the site.

However, it has been agreed that presentation of the material should have an independent, appropriate format: The web pages should look like web pages while the Sentinel should continue to look like – well, like it does. Plans presently in progress include a page on the site with more information about this paper than there is space for in its pages; and a regular column in the paper informing readers what's new on the wider Saltaire village website.
