Victoria Tearooms, 8 Victoria Road

From this month there is another place where you can pick up the Sentinel – one where you can read it immediately, while enjoying fine, homemade value for money refreshment in surroundings worthy of a World Heritage Site.  Tracey Bennet and Andrea Eason have done – and continue to do – an excellent job in the basement of No. 8 Victoria Road. One customer remarked, “This is exactly what Saltaire needs”.

Victoria Tearooms, 8 Victoria Road, Saltaire

Morning coffee, afternoon tea, light lunches, snacks, cakes and scones.
Also on sale: locally produced farmhouse cheeses, homemade preserves and pickles, old fashioned sweets, gifts and novelty teapots.

It is worth mentioning here that as the Sentinel is not a commercial enterprise, all its outlets enjoy the editor’s personal recommendation.
