GRAHAM GOOCH IS COMING TO DINNER

Poster: A Sportsman's Dinner with Graham GoochCricketing legend Graham Gooch will be this year’s special guest speaker at Saltaire Cricket Club’s Sporting Dinner on Thursday  March 29th. Tickets for the event  (7.30pm for 8-00pm) at the Ramada Jarvis Bankfield Hotel on Bradford Road, are an absolute bargain at £30 each, with tables for ten  available at £300.  A quality three course meal, with vegetarian option, is promised and the evening will also include games and an auction of  memorabilia.

“We are particularly excited and privileged to have a  legend like Graham Gooch  to our annual Dinner,” the Club’s Secretary Geoff Porter told us, “Graham Gooch is England's leading test run maker.  He has a career that spans four decades and a wealth of humorous stories about some of the cricketing greats he has played against and with (including Geoffrey Boycott and Ian Botham).  He is an excellent speaker and is certain to give his opinion on the disastrous Ashes tour.”

For tickets telephone 01274 826177 or email: gnporterone@blueyonder.co.uk.
